Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A flaw exists in the Linux kernel related to userfaultfd. Specifically, a crash can occur in the UFFDIO MOVE operation when a Page Middle Directory (PMD) is a migration entry. The issue arises from attempting to obtain and access a folio even when the entry is a swap entry (swp entry t). The fix involves adding a check to handle migration entries correctly and removing an unnecessary folio check.
