VectorAV:L/AC:H/Au:S/C:C/I:C/A:C
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description An infinite loop may occur in the exFAT file system due to file system corruption if a cluster chain includes a loop and there are no unused entries in the chain. Specifically, this issue can manifest in the following functions: exfat count dir entries(), exfat create upcase table(), exfat load bitmap(), exfat find dir entry(), and exfat check dir empty(). The vulnerability arises when the cluster chain of a directory or the root directory contains a loop, and available unused entries are exhausted.
