Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
A division by zero issue was identified in the
hibmcge network driver. This issue occurs when a network port is down, leading to the release of the queue and a zero value for ring->len. Subsequently, calling the hbg get queue used num() function in debugfs can result in a division by zero error. The issue is resolved by adding a check within the hbg get queue used num() function to directly return 0 if ring->len is 0.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
