| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions:
Testimonial plugin for WordPress versions prior to 2.3
Description:
The Testimonial plugin for WordPress is susceptible to SQL Injection via the
iNICtestimonial shortcode. This is due to insufficient escaping on the user-supplied parameter and a lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This allows authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access or higher to append additional SQL queries to existing ones, potentially extracting sensitive information from the database.Recommendations:
Update to a version prior to 2.3.
Fix
SQL injection
