Description: A DLL search path hijacking issue exists in the UPDF.exe executable for Windows. Attackers with local access can execute arbitrary code by placing a malicious FREngine.dll file in the directory ‘C:UsersAppDataLocalUPDFFREngineBin64’. This could lead to arbitrary code execution and persistence.

Recommendations: Replace the existing FREngine.dll file with a legitimate version. As a temporary workaround, restrict write access to the ‘C:UsersAppDataLocalUPDFFREngineBin64’ directory.
