Description:
A flaw exists in the Linux kernel's IOMMU subsystem, specifically within the ARM SMU Qualcomm component. The vulnerability stems from a missing workaround for the SM6115 MDSS compatible, leading to unhandled context faults during boot on devices like the QRB4210 RB2. This can cause failures in the initialization of components such as the Lontium LT9611UXC, GPU, and DPU. The issue manifests as SMU unhandled context fault errors and can result in system instability.
Recommendations:
Update to Linux kernel version 6.15.0-03037-gaacc73ceeb8b or a later version to address this issue.
