CVE-2025-39743

CVSS v3.1

7.8

High

VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions: Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description: A flaw exists in the Linux kernel where inode pages are not truncated when the hard link number is zero, specifically within the jfs filesystem. This occurs when the fileset value of the inode copy from the disk is AGGR RESERVED I, leading to a bugon during the clear inode() function execution because the number of pages is greater than zero.
Recommendations: At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
