Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions:
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description:
A flaw exists in the Linux kernel’s
rzg2l adc driver related to runtime power management. During system stress testing involving repeated binding and unbinding of the ADC device, a crash can occur if the ADC is a supplier for another device. This happens because the driver’s runtime PM callbacks rely on driver data (drvdata) which is not yet set when the device is runtime-resumed immediately after runtime PM is enabled by a consumer.Recommendations:
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
