Description:
A flaw exists in the Linux kernel related to PCI endpoint configuration file system (configfs) group list head handling. An incorrect
list del() call within pci epf remove cfs() can trigger a kernel memory safety issue (specifically a slab-use-after-free) when an endpoint function driver with a configfs attribute group is removed. This issue manifests as a KASAN warning.Recommendations:
Update to Linux kernel version 6.16.0-rc2 or later.
