Description A flaw exists in the Linux kernel's crypto/arm/poly1305 module where register corruption can occur in non-SIMD contexts. This issue arises from the removal of a SIMD usability check, potentially leading to incorrect MAC computations and corruption of registers in other tasks if Poly1305 functions are called when SIMD registers are unavailable. The fix involves restoring the SIMD usability check using may use simd().
