Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
A flaw exists in the Linux kernel related to the xhci-mtk driver. Specifically, the issue involves a failure to properly release a shared host controller device (HCD) when a wakeup interrupt fails to set. This occurs because the
@shared hcd pointer is not set to NULL before the usage count is decremented using usb put hcd(), leading to a resource leak.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
