CVE-2022-50250

CVSS v3.1

5.5

Medium

VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description The Linux kernel contains a use count leakage in the regulator core when handling boot-on regulators. This occurs when a regulator device (A) configured with regulator-boot-on increments the use count of its supplying regulator (B). This can cause regulator (B) to act as always-on, preventing it from being properly disabled, even if it is also configured with regulator-boot-on.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
