VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A flaw was discovered in the Linux kernel related to the handling of socket buffers (skb) when redirecting packets to a tunneling device. Specifically, the issue arises when the skb->len becomes zero after pulling the layer 2 header, leading to an assertion failure within the networking stack. This condition was initially identified through syzkaller testing. The reproducer for this issue is difficult to replicate outside of the syzkaller environment.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
