CVSS v3.1

5.5

Medium

VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description The Linux kernel contains a flaw in the drm/amdgpu module related to the amddrm buddy fini function. A call trace warning is observed during the removal of the amdgpu driver, caused by block objects (BOs) allocated for the PSP not being freed until removal. For smu v13 0 2, GPUs supporting xgmi may experience a GPU recover in AMDGPU RESET FOR DEVICE REMOVE mode during removal, leading to hardware resets and incomplete initialization of IP blocks. The issue is addressed by moving the psp free shared bufs function to psp sw fini.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
