Description The Linux kernel contains a flaw in the UDF charset conversion code. For filenames starting with '.' and between 2 and 5 characters long, the code reads uninitialized memory in the output buffer. This can result in a "unification hash" being prepended to the filename when it is not required.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
