CVSS v3.1

5.5

Medium

VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description The Linux kernel contains a flaw related to Btrfs file system relocation roots. A race condition between quota tree creation and relocation can lead to duplicated quota trees and a mismatch in relocation roots. This previously triggered an assertion, which has been replaced with a more graceful handling mechanism and warning messages to aid debugging.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
