Description A null pointer dereference issue was resolved in the Linux kernel related to power supply functionality. Specifically, a failure to allocate memory within the power supply get battery info function, due to kmalloc() failing, could lead to a null pointer dereference when calling strcmp() via of get property(). The issue occurs when kasprintf() returns a NULL pointer.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
