CVE-2023-53202

CVSS v3.1

5.5

Medium

VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A memory leak exists when using the debugfs lookup() function within the power management (PM) domains functionality. Failing to call dput() on the result of debugfs lookup() leads to a memory leak over time. The issue is addressed by using debugfs lookup and remove() which handles the necessary logic to prevent the leak.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
