Description
A NULL pointer dereference issue has been resolved in the
pmbus core component of the Linux kernel’s hwmon subsystem. The fix involves passing the i2c client to the pmbus is enabled function to remove the assumption that a regulator device is passed in. This resolves the NULL pointer dereference that occurred when called from the pmbus get flags function.Recommendations
