Description
A memory leak exists in the coresight component of the Linux kernel, specifically related to the
acpi buffer->pointer. The leak occurs because the ACPI buffer memory is not freed after use, leading to unreferenced objects and potential memory exhaustion. The issue is triggered during the processing of the ACPI DSD graph and involves temporary variables within the acpi coresight parse graph() function.Recommendations
