CVSS v3.1

5.5

Medium

VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description The Linux kernel contains a memory leak in the imxrt1050 clocks probe function. The issue occurs due to the use of of iomap() instead of devm of iomap(), leading to unfreed memory regions allocated by kzalloc() if errors occur. Additionally, error handling for hardware state (hws) was improved by adding an unregister label to ensure remaining hws are unregistered when iomap fails.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
