Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
The Linux kernel contains a flaw in the drm/msm/dpu subsystem where a failure of
devm kzalloc() could lead to a null pointer dereference in the dpu writeback init() function. Specifically, if devm kzalloc() fails, dpu wb conn might be NULL, causing a subsequent null pointer dereference. The issue can be addressed by checking the return value of devm kzalloc() and returning -ENOMEM if it fails.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
