CVSS v3.1

5.5

Medium

VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A flaw exists in the Linux kernel's trace/fgraph subsystem. A warning occurred during testing on version 6.16 due to a missing unregistration of a notifier callback after a failed start graph tracing operation when writing to the function profile enabled interface. This resulted in a warning message being triggered the next time function profile enabled was written to. The issue was resolved by adding unregistration of the pm notifier in the exception path.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
