Description
The Linux kernel contained a flaw in the iommufd/selftest module where an overflow of
uptr and length could occur. Specifically, syzkaller detected a WARN ON condition when attempting to utilize a uptr value close to UINTPTR MAX during a test. This issue arises from insufficient bounds checking when handling user memory ranges, potentially leading to system instability or unexpected behavior.Recommendations
Update to a version later than 6.2.0-c9c3395d5e3d.
