Description An issue has been discovered in GitLab CE/EE where under certain conditions, processing of CI artifacts metadata could cause background jobs to become unresponsive.

Recommendations For versions 15.0 through 17.5.5, update to version 17.5.5 or later to resolve the issue. For versions 17.6 through 17.6.3, update to version 17.6.3 or later to resolve the issue. For versions 17.7 through 17.7.1, update to version 17.7.1 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting the processing of CI artifacts metadata to minimize the risk of background jobs becoming unresponsive.
