Description
The Linux kernel contains an issue where an invalid
max flowrings number read from a dongle during firmware initialization can cause a kernel panic when attempting to initialize the dongle ring via iowrite. The issue is addressed by returning an error when an invalid max flowrings value (greater than 256) is detected.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
