CVSS v3.1

5.5

Medium

VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description The Linux kernel contains a flaw in the RDMA/cxgb4 component where a null pointer dereference could occur in the pass establish() function. This happens if get ep from tid() fails to locate a non-NULL value for ep, leading to a dereference of ep even when it is empty. A sanity check has been added to address this issue.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
