Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
A deadlock can occur when an overloaded system runs
->parallel() in the context of the current task. This issue arises from bottom halves (BHs) not being disabled in do serial, leading to a potential deadlock situation when an interrupt occurs during the execution of padata do serial while the reorder->lock is held. The vulnerability is related to the padata do parallel function, which calls ->parallel(), which in turn calls pcrypt aead enc/dec and padata do serial.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
