CVSS v3.1

7.8

High

VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A flaw exists in the Linux kernel's Bluetooth implementation where SCO/ISO connections may fail if the ACL connection is terminated prematurely. This issue arises from a use-after-free condition when cleaning up connections without properly calling hci (dis)connect cfm before deleting the connection reference. The vulnerability is addressed by using hci conn failed to ensure proper connection cleanup in scenarios where the ACL connection is lost early, including during ISO connection establishment before the LE Create CIS is sent.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
