Description The Linux kernel contains an issue where the SCSI subsystem (ses) could attempt to manage an enclosure with no components. This could lead to an error if the driver tries to manage a zero-component enclosure. The issue has been resolved by preventing attachment when an enclosure has no components, and switching the logging level to KERN WARNING as this scenario is common.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
