Description
The Linux kernel contains a flaw related to page table synchronization when calling
p*d populate kernel(). Specifically, the issue arises in systems utilizing 4-level paging and a substantial amount of persistent memory, potentially leading to intermittent boot failures. Additionally, the vulnerability can cause a crash in the vmemmap set pmd() function due to accessing vmemmap before sync global pgds().Recommendations
