Description
The Linux kernel contains a flaw in the
iodyn find io region() function where a NULL pointer dereference can occur. This is due to the res variable, assigned from pcmcia make resource(), being dereferenced in pci bus alloc resource() without a prior check for NULL. This can happen if pcmcia make resource() fails.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
