CVE-2025-39875

CVSS v2.0

6.0

Medium

VectorAV:L/AC:H/Au:S/C:C/I:C/A:C
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description The igb driver experiences a NULL pointer dereference during the ethtool loopback test. This occurs because the test ring lacks an associated q vector when set up, specifically due to missing interrupts for test rings. A commit removed the napi id assignment, and the issue is resolved by using 0 as the last parameter in the xdp rxq info reg() function.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
