Description
An issue exists in the Linux kernel related to the ASoC (Audio Subsystem on Chip) and mediatek mt8173 devices. Specifically, an interrupt request (IRQ) may be received before the system is prepared to handle it if the device does not come directly from a reset state. This can lead to kernel read errors from unreadable memory locations, as indicated by error messages in the kernel call trace involving
regmap read and mt8173 afe irq handler.Recommendations
