Description
A flaw exists in the Linux kernel’s CIFS implementation within the
cifs flock() function. Specifically, if a file lock operation fails and returns -ENOLCK, the associated xid (transaction ID) is not properly freed, leading to a memory leak. This issue impacts systems utilizing the CIFS protocol.Recommendations
