VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A flaw exists in the Linux kernel’s amdgpu display driver where a null pointer dereference could occur. Specifically, the adev->dm.dc pointer could be NULL and subsequently dereferenced within the amdgpu dm fini() function without a prior check. This issue was discovered by the Linux Verification Center (linuxtesting.org) using SVACE. The fix involves adding a NULL pointer check before calling the dc dmub srv destroy() function.
