Description
A flaw exists in the Linux kernel where the
ublk ctrl start dev() function may fail to properly handle interruptions during queue setup. Specifically, if wait for completion interruptible() is interrupted by a signal, the queues may not be fully configured, potentially leading to a kernel oops. This issue was reported while working on qemu-storage-deamon, which requires a single-threaded ublk daemon.Recommendations
