Description The Linux kernel contains a flaw related to packet handling in the bcmgenet network driver. Occasionally, oversized packets from the hardware may exceed the allocated buffer size, potentially triggering a panic. A check has been added to drop these oversized packets, preventing the invocation of skb over panic() and allowing processing to continue.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
