Description The issue is a remote code execution vulnerability that exists in the parsing of U3D files within the PDF-XChange Editor. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations. User interaction is required, as the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file. The problem results from the lack of proper validation of user-supplied data, which can cause a write past the end of an allocated object. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of the current process.
