CVSS v3.1

5.5

Medium

VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A memory leak was identified in the drm/amdgpu module within the Linux kernel, specifically within the hpd rx irq create workqueue() function. If the creation of the work queue array for handling Hot Plug Detect (HPD) receive interrupt offload work fails, the allocated memory for the hpd rx irq offload work queue struct array and the created workqueues are not properly released, leading to a memory leak.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
