CVE-2023-53628

CVSS v3.1

5.5

Medium

VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description The Linux kernel contains an issue related to the handling of error interrupts within the amdgpu driver. Specifically, the gfx v11 0 cp ecc error irq interrupt is retired in the gfx11 architecture. The code still attempts to disable this interrupt, leading to a call trace during the gfx v11 0 hw fini function. This issue involves the improper handling of Unified Memory Controller (UMC) and Graphics Rasterization (RAS) cases. The problem was addressed by checking the cp ecc error irq.funcs instead of the IP version for more sustainable operation and by dropping definitions used in gfx v11 0 set cp ecc error state.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
