Description A memory leak exists in the ext4 filesystem related to filename casefolding failures within the ext4 fname setup filename() and ext4 fname prepare lookup() functions. Specifically, memory allocated for the crypto buf.name member of the fscrypt name structure is not freed when filename casefolding fails, leading to a memory leak.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
