Description A flaw exists in the System Diagnostics Manager (SDM) component of B&R Automation Runtime that allows for improper neutralization of formula elements within a CSV file. This can be exploited by a remote attacker to inject formula data into a CSV file generated by the system. Successful exploitation requires the attacker to create a malicious link, which a user must then click. Following this, the generated CSV file must be manually opened to complete the exploitation process.

Recommendations Update to a version of B&R Automation Runtime version 6.4 or later.
