Description
A heap-based buffer overflow exists in Microsoft Internet Explorer and the Windows URL Parsing component. This flaw allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code by exploiting a vulnerability in how Internet Explorer handles specific web content or how Windows parses URLs. Successful exploitation could lead to full system compromise. The vulnerability is related to a buffer overflow in dynamic memory.
