CVE-2025-21527

CVSS v2.0

6.4

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools versions prior to 9.2.9.0
Description The issue is related to a lack of authorization in the Design Tools SEC component. It can be easily exploited, allowing an unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools. Successful attacks require human interaction from a person other than the attacker and may significantly impact additional products. The attacks can result in unauthorized update, insert, or delete access to some of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools' accessible data, as well as unauthorized read access to a subset of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools' accessible data.
Recommendations For versions prior to 9.2.9.0, update to version 9.2.9.0 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the Design Tools SEC component via HTTP to minimize the risk of exploitation. Additionally, restrict access to sensitive data and implement strict authorization controls to prevent unauthorized access.
