Description
Icinga 2, an open source monitoring system, is susceptible to a denial-of-service condition. Creating an invalid reference, such as a reference to null, can lead to a segmentation fault. This can be triggered by any API user with access to an API endpoint that allows specifying a filter expression, causing the Icinga 2 daemon to crash. The issue occurs when dereferencing the invalid reference.
