CVSS v3.1

9.1

Critical

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Oracle Hospitality OPERA 5 versions 5.6.19.20 through 5.6.27.1
Description This issue allows an unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Oracle Hospitality OPERA 5. Successful attacks can result in unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all accessible data and the ability to cause a hang or frequently repeatable crash of Oracle Hospitality OPERA 5.
Recommendations For versions 5.6.19.20, 5.6.25.8, 5.6.26.6, and 5.6.27.1, consider restricting access to the Opera Servlet component to minimize the risk of exploitation until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, consider disabling access to the HTTP endpoint to prevent unauthorized access. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
