Description The ST Categories Widget plugin for WordPress is susceptible to Stored Cross-Site Scripting through the plugin’s st-categories shortcode. This is caused by inadequate input sanitization and output escaping of user-provided attributes. Authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher can inject malicious web scripts into pages, which will then execute when a user views the affected page.

Recommendations Update the ST Categories Widget plugin to version 1.0.1 or later.
