Description
The Linux kernel contains a resource management issue within the Direct Rendering Manager (DRM) subsystem, specifically in the OMAP display subsystem (dss). The issue involves a reference count leak in the
dss init ports() and dss uninit ports() functions. Specifically, the of node put() function is not called in the failure path or when a reference obtained by of graph get port by id() is no longer needed. This can lead to a leak of device tree node references.Recommendations
