None

No severity ratings or metrics are available. When they are, we'll update the corresponding info on the page.
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel versions prior to 6.4.0-rc1-00011-g99a670b2069c
Description The Linux kernel contains a flaw related to memblock resizing. Specifically, the issue arises because memblock metadata is accessed from the kernel image mapping before linear mapping is fully initialized. This can lead to a page fault during the reallocation of memblock regions, potentially causing a kernel panic. The log data indicates that many memblock regions are reserved before the linear mapping is created, triggering the reallocation and subsequent memory access error.
Recommendations Update to Linux kernel version 6.4.0-rc1-00011-g99a670b2069c or a later version to address this issue.
